Women’s Wellness Over 40: Face Yoga for Natural Radiance

Discover how face yoga supports women over 40 with natural skin rejuvenation, self-care rituals, and mindful wellness practices you can do at home.

Carin's Bio

Carin Andresen is a holistic beauty and wellness guide who supports women, especially those over 40, in reconnecting with their natural radiance through face yoga, mindfulness, and gentle self-care practices.

Originally from a small village in northern Germany, Carin trained at the National School of Aesthetics before embarking on an international modelling career that took her to Italy, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. Alongside this work, she developed a deep understanding of skin health and, together with her father, a respected scientist, created a natural skincare range using Pine Bark Extract.

Experiencing menopause-related skin issues became a turning point, leading Carin to discover face yoga as a powerful, holistic practice. Today, she teaches women how to care for their skin naturally while honouring their bodies, calming the nervous system, and embracing ageing with confidence and grace.

About this episode

What if ageing could feel empowering rather than something to fight against?

In this episode of Healing Through Love, we explore women’s wellness through the lens of face yoga with holistic beauty educator Carin Andresen. This conversation is designed for women over 40 who want to support their skin, health, and confidence naturally.

Carin shares her lived experience of working in the beauty industry, developing natural skincare, and navigating menopause. Through these transitions, she discovered face yoga as a practice that integrates mindfulness, breathwork, facial exercise, acupressure, and massage to support both inner and outer wellbeing.

Listeners will learn how simple, proven techniques can help improve skin tone, hydration, and muscle strength while also reducing puffiness and tension. These practices are accessible, time efficient, and can be done in the comfort of your own home.

This episode also reframes self-care as an act of self-respect rather than vanity. Carin explains how face yoga helps women slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and practise self-love during a life stage often marked by change and uncertainty.

If you are seeking natural approaches to ageing well, meaningful self-care rituals, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself, this episode offers practical insights and gentle encouragement.

Three Key Takeaways

  1. You are never too old to learn new wellness practices, and small daily habits can create meaningful change.
  2. Face yoga offers powerful, proven massage and exercise techniques you can safely practise at home.
  3. Self-care does not need to be time consuming to be effective; mindful minutes can support both skin health and emotional wellbeing.
