Raising awareness, sharing resources and standing with survivors of domestic and family violence.
Raising Awareness. Standing With Survivors.
Healing Through Love advocates for greater awareness, understanding and action around domestic and family violence.
We share survivor-informed resources, amplify important conversations, and support initiatives that help people feel safer, more informed and less alone.
Our heart remains rooted in compassion, community care and dignity, including our local and global Pamper Day vision. But our purpose is bigger than care alone.
We are here to raise awareness, challenge silence and stand with survivors.
Our Mission
Our mission is to shift societal awareness of domestic and family violence by creating a community where people feel safe, respected, informed and supported.
We believe awareness is only the beginning. Real change happens when education, advocacy, lived experience and community action come together.
Healing Through Love exists to help people recognise abuse, understand their options, access trusted information, and know they are not alone.
What We Focus On
Advocacy
We speak up about domestic and family violence, coercive control, survivor safety, disclosure schemes, legal awareness and the gaps that leave people unsupported.
Awareness
We create articles, podcast conversations and educational resources that help people understand what abuse can look like – including the patterns that are often hidden, minimised or misunderstood.
Community Care
Pamper Days remain part of the Healing Through Love heart. Whether local or global, they represent dignity, connection, kindness and the reminder that survivors deserve care.
About Healing Through Love
Healing Through Love was formed in April 2018 by four Adelaide-based businesswomen with a shared commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence.
We are a social enterprise with a simple but powerful purpose: to help create a safer, more compassionate world.
Our work has evolved. While Pamper Days remain part of our community care vision, our main focus is now advocacy, awareness and survivor-informed education.
We use our voice to help bring domestic and family violence out from behind closed doors, into public awareness, where change can begin.
What We Stand For
Domestic and family violence is not only a private issue. It is a community issue, a safety issue and a social issue.
Healing Through Love stands for:
Survivors being believed
No one should have to prove their pain before they are taken seriously.
Education before crisis
People need information before danger escalates, not only after harm has already happened.
Safe, informed choices
Everyone deserves access to clear information, trusted resources and pathways to support.
Lived experience being heard
Survivor voices matter. Their stories, insights and experiences must help shape awareness and change.
Compassion with action
Kindness matters, but kindness alone is not enough. Advocacy, education and community responsibility matter too.
Our Advocacy Focus Areas
Our advocacy work focuses on the issues that affect survivors, families and communities.
Domestic and Family Violence
Understanding the patterns, warning signs and long-term impact of abuse.
Coercive Control
Helping people recognise the hidden behaviours that create fear, dependency and isolation.
Clare’s Law and Disclosure Schemes
Advocating for people’s right to make informed decisions about their safety.
Survivor Safety and Support
Sharing resources that help people feel less alone and better informed.
Community Awareness
Encouraging conversations that shift domestic violence from silence into responsibility.
Lived Experience Education
Amplifying voices and stories that help others understand what abuse can really look like.
Clare’s Law: Why Informed Safety Matters
Every person has the right to make informed choices about their safety.
Clare’s Law, also known as a Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, allows a person who may be at risk to seek information about whether a current or former partner has a history of abusive or violent behaviour.
Healing Through Love supports greater awareness of disclosure schemes because information can help people make safer decisions before harm escalates.
Pamper Days Remain Part of Our Heart
Healing Through Love began with the belief that survivors deserve care, dignity and moments of peace.
Our Pamper Days were created to offer kindness, connection and support to people who have experienced domestic and family violence.
As our work grows into advocacy and education, Pamper Days remain part of our wider vision – both locally and globally.
They are not the whole mission, but they still represent something important: survivors deserve to feel valued, seen and cared for.
Local Pamper Days
Community-led events that offer survivors a safe, gentle space to receive care, connection and encouragement.
Global Pamper Days
A future vision for encouraging communities beyond Australia to create their own care-based initiatives for survivors.
